Singapore
Singapore is a small country with high population density, which is also being called the Lion City, the Garden City etc. The country reinvented themselves as one of Southern's Asia most modern and dynamic city. It has a high degree of cultural diversity and it mainly merges cultures from Asian countries. It became an Independent country in the 1964. Although Singapore is just a very small country, it is a global commerce, finance and transport hub. In the past ten years, it is the only Asian country that being awarded with the top AAA sovereign rating. Since the 1990s, Singapore is rated as the "easiest place to do business"for ten consecutive years. In addition, Singapore is ranked the 3rd most competitive country in the world; the first in the world to have the best protection of intellectual properties. Besides from achievements in finance, Singapore also has a great achievements in other aspects. For example, Singapore ranked second in 2010 on world Health Organization’s World Health Statistic’s Infant Mortality Rate(Health); thus ranked ranked 7th in the world and 2nd in Asia for having the most motivated workforce(Labour); and ranked the first in the 2015 OECD global education report(educational).
Demographics
According to the data from the Population&Land Estimate(Mid-year Estimate) proposed by the Singapore government. It shows that the estimated population of Singapore was 5,535,000 people, 3,375,000 (60.98%) of whom were citizens, while the remaining 2,160,000 (39.02%) were permanent residents(527,700) or foreign student/foreign workers/dependant (1,632,300). The report also show that 74.1% of residents were of Chinese descent, 13.4% of Malay descent, 9.2% of Indian descent, and 3.3% of other descent.

Geography
Singapore is a very small country which consists of 63 Islands, and Pulau Ujong is basically the main island of Singapore. It is very near to the country, Malaysia; which is one of the water supplier of Singapore. Since 1960s, Singapore government started to reclaim land, and now about 140 km sq. of land is reclaimed land. Nearly 10% of Singapore's land has been set aside for parks and nature reserves. IN 1963, Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew launched Singapore's first tree-planting campaign. As a result, the network of nature reserves, parks, park connectors, nature ways, tree-lined roads and other natural areas have enhanced the sense of green space in the city, and Singapore is now often called as the green city.
